Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our team at Apex Systems. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, estimating, and providing technical consultation for IT infrastructure projects in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, and design activities with the Project Services Portfolio Manager(s) and Technical Project Managers.
- Lead design/technical meetings with customers, internal subject matter experts, and third-party vendors to gather technical specifications.
- Produce architectural design documents to match customer requirements.
- Provide Architecture Oversight during implementation.
- Provide current best practices, design decisions, and solution alternatives as part of the architectural design documentation.
- Participate in design, documentation, review, and delivery activities with the Solutions Architect, Portfolio Managers, and Project Managers.
- Provide technical information for project proposals.
- Work with other Solutions and Enterprise Architects to align designs with the enterprise roadmaps.
Requirements:
- Excellent C-Level communication skills, written and oral.

- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Complex stakeholder engagement experience.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize requests, manage laterally and upwards.

- Ability to drive and progress with minimal direction. Self-awareness and ability to assess personal performance.
- Attention to detail and prioritizing tasks.
- Experience with frameworks and business case development.
- Experience planning for and managing organizational change.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of recent related experience in an IT Infrastructure Solutions Architect role in a large, complex Enterprise Organization.
- Experience in designing complex IT infrastructure projects.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution design and specifications.
- Experience in Microsoft Technologies (Desktop, Server, AD, ADFS, SQL, RDS, etc.).
- Broad knowledge in different technologies (like Unix server, Storage, Virtualization, Database Citrix (XenApp, XenDesktop), Identity Management, Voice, Networking (wired/wireless)).
- Knowledge and experience with current architecture standards and industry best practices in various technologies and security.
- Proven technical consulting experience in large enterprises.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent preferred.
Additional Experience - Nice To Have:
- Experience in Healthcare IMIT.
- Experience in developing IT design for facilities-related projects and DC migration projects.
- Experience in latest technologies like Cloud (Azure, AWS), Big Data, and Mobile.
