About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to join our dynamic team at Brand Momentum. As a key member of our national sales and merchandising team, you will have the opportunity to work independently at one retail location, approximately 3-4 hours per week in Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform merchandising tasks at one retail store, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked display.
  • Maintain sections, including restocking and removing dead plants, to maintain a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Address any out-of-stock issues and communicate with the store manager to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Clean and dust display fixtures, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Water plants and flowers to ensure they remain healthy and vibrant.
  • Submit daily visit reports and call reports to maintain accurate records.
  • Visit the store twice a week to ensure the display is maintained and to address any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the store manager to ensure a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Remove any dead leaves or blooms and unsalable products to maintain a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Take photos of the display to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Previous merchandising experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Have a smartphone and access to the internet.
  • Home location preferably located within 10 KM of the retail store.
