Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on waste equipment, including compactors and balers.
  • Conduct diagnostic checks on electrical and hydraulic components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance inspections throughout New Brunswick to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a safe work environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with machinery, including hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit drawings and mechanical blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience working with hand tools, such as drills, grinders, wrenches, hammers, and measurement tape.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional appearance.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and wearing protective clothing.
  • Welding or Millwright background is considered an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
