CEDA is seeking skilled and motivated Class 1 and Class 3 Operators to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan.

If you're eager to learn and gain hands-on experience operating a diverse range of heavy equipment, including vacuum trucks, hydro-vac units, high-pressure water jetting systems, and chemical cleaning equipment, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain various heavy equipment, including vacuum trucks, high-pressure water jetting units, and specialized tools.
  • Spend the majority of your workday outside the truck, performing hands-on tasks.
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a physically demanding environment.
  • Safely access confined spaces and tanks using industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure the safety of all team members and company property.
  • Collaborate effectively with your team and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
  • Continuously learn new skills by rigging in and out specialized equipment.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for pre-trip inspections, job reports, safety documents, and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintain a meticulous attention to detail and strive for excellence in all your work.
  • Provide guidance and support to Laborers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license with no more than 5 demerits in the past 3 years.
  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial setting is an asset.
  • Willingness to obtain your Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT) certification.
  • Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications are beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of heavy equipment operation.
  • Proficiency with manual transmissions.
  • Commitment to safety practices for both personnel and equipment.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including climbing stairs and carrying equipment (up to 50 pounds regularly).
