We are seeking a skilled Roofing Technician to join our team at G&G Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems and single-ply roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel, as well as single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials.
- Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects, ensuring accurate and efficient use of resources.
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe and accessible working conditions.
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level to prevent water damage and ensure a watertight seal.
- Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, ensuring a secure and durable finish.
- Install sheet metal flashings to prevent water ingress and ensure a watertight seal.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in roofing installation and repair.
- Permanent employment with a reputable company.
- Fluent in English as the primary language of communication.
- 30 hours per week of work, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
