About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at G&G Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons with various tasks related to construction and roofing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Structures: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Operate Equipment: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and operated.
  • Perform Labouring Tasks: Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required, including installing sheet metal flashings and applying waterproof coatings.
  • Assist Skilled Tradespersons: Provide support to skilled tradespersons, including roofers, carpenters, and other construction professionals.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, as this is the primary language used in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
