Dietitian - Primary Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our Primary Health Care team. As a member of our team, you will provide expert knowledge and skills on a wide range of issues related to health promotion, illness prevention, screening, treatment, and monitoring of people living with diabetes and other chronic health problems.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other disciplines and committees to achieve excellence in patient care. They will also be responsible for providing health assessments, interventions, and follow-up care in accordance with relevant acts, regulations, policies, standards, guidelines, mission, and objectives.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in human nutrition and dietetics, as well as experience working in a community health setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of the principles of motivational interviewing and be able to apply this knowledge in a community health setting. They will also have experience with group education and be able to work well with diverse populations.
HoursThis is a short assignment part-time position, with 45 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
