Our Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. As a Baker at COBS Bread, you will be responsible for leading our freshness commitment and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality products. You will work as part of a small team to bake each morning, following carefully crafted recipes and maintaining a clean and organized bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the freshness commitment by ensuring that all baked goods are of the highest quality and meet our standards.
  • Work as part of a small team to bake each morning, following carefully crafted recipes and maintaining a clean and organized bakery environment.
  • Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, moulding and shaping dough, and processing everything through the ovens.
  • Contribute to a great customer experience by providing excellent service and ensuring that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience.

  • You are an early riser who can work independently or as part of a small team.

Physical Requirements

  • Continuous standing/walking for all tasks.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg.
  • Frequent turning and reaching.
  • Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending.
  • Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 meters.
  • Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping.
