Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team at Matelas Avanti inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for transporting items throughout the plant using powered equipment, as well as manually moving raw materials, finished products, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation: Safely transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Material Handling: Manually move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant, ensuring efficient and safe movement.
  • Quality Control: Check and weigh materials and products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Packaging and Crating: Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products for shipping and storage.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees: As a Warehouse Worker, you will also play a vital role in supporting the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees. This may involve facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.

Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English or French, and the work environment is fast-paced and dynamic.
