We are a leading construction company seeking an experienced Interior Decorator - Surface Finishing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to the highest standard.

Job Description

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience. As an Interior Decorator - Surface Finishing Specialist, you will work in various locations advising consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Mix paint to desired colour and texture
  • Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings
  • Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in surface finishing or related field
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
