We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Cha Baa Thai Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supervising staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
- Prepare and manage budgets, tracking expenses and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing overtime.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and maintain quality control standards.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Safe Food Handling certificate and knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing circumstances.
