With over 9,221 square kilometres of service area, we respond to a wide range of emergency situations, from medical emergencies to complex rescues. Our team is committed to providing high-quality patient care and building strong relationships with the community.
Salary Information
The salary for this position is competitive and reflects the skills and qualifications required. The successful candidate will be paid between $45.35 and $50.06 per hour, effective April 1, 2025.
Key Responsibilities
As an Advanced Care Paramedic, your key responsibilities will include:
- Responding to emergency calls and providing primary and advanced medical care
- Transporting patients to medical facilities, using specialized equipment and techniques
- Maintaining accurate records and completing necessary documentation
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A diploma in Emergency Care/Paramedicine from a Community College in Ontario
- EMCA or A-EMCA certification by the Ministry of Health
- Certification as an Advanced Care Paramedic in the Province of Ontario
- Possession of a CPR certificate
- One year of experience as a Primary Care Paramedic
