Accounting Technician Job Description

Greenhaven Management Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Reconcile accounts
Work Environment:

As an Accounting Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet the demands of the role.

Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Attention to detail
