Accounting Technician Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team at Greenhaven Management Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Reconcile accounts

Work Environment:

The Accounting Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
