Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $50,000 and $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.



Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing underground wiring and cables, keeping maintenance records and documentation, splicing and connecting wires, testing and measuring voltage, loads, ground faults and circuit integrity, determining appropriate materials and methods for hazardous locations, troubleshooting and isolating faults, connecting power to audio and visual equipment, estimating costs and materials, conducting preventive maintenance programs, and reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty environments
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring strength and endurance
