We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Phantom Electrical Systems Ltd. This role involves installing and maintaining electrical systems in various locations, including residential and commercial structures.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background and relevant work experience. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and isolating faults, connecting power to audio and visual equipment, and conducting preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Install underground wiring and cables
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Splice, join and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance
  • Permanent position with 35-40 hours per week
  • English as primary language of work
Compensation:

We offer an estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development.
