About the Team
The Payments ML Accelerator team at Stripe is pioneering the development of cutting-edge machine learning capabilities that will revolutionize the payment industry. We're building innovative deep learning models and infrastructure to enable rapid experimentation and deployment of ML-based solutions.
Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of scalable and configurable ML platforms and services. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build and deploy advanced ML applications, collaborate with data scientists, and influence ML architecture at Stripe.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop deep learning architectures and feature embeddings for payment entities
- Develop and deploy DNN applications and establish a foundation for increased DNN adoption
- Design and architect generalizable ML workflows for rapid expansion of existing ML solutions
- Experiment with advanced ML solutions and ideate on product applications
- Collaborate with our machine learning infrastructure team to leverage new infra services for business solutions
- Collaborate with data scientists to build ML models
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience in end-to-end ML development and bringing ML models to production
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, statistics, physics)
- Proficient in Python, Scala, and Spark
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of data manipulation and analysis, including querying data, defining metrics, and slicing and dicing data
- Experience evaluating niche and upcoming ML solutions
Hybrid Work at Stripe
This role is available in an office or remote location, with a balance between in-person collaboration and flexibility to work from home.
Pay and Benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $192,000 - $288,000, with additional benefits including equity, company bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
