Food Service Manager

Join the SUN SET GRILL team as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and that we are minimizing waste.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect from us.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
- Operations Management: Establish work schedules, manage kitchen operations, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
