Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate user needs and system functionality to ensure smooth operation.
  2. Responsible for ICT facilities, including anti-virus software, print services, and email provision.
  3. Ensure software licensing laws are adhered to and systems are secure from internal and external threats.
  4. Operate within the IT budget to source competitive prices from suppliers.
  5. Research and install new systems to meet business needs.
  6. Provide secure access to the network for remote users and offer technical support.
  7. Manage crisis situations involving complex technical hardware or software problems.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and schedule upgrades and security backups as required.
  9. Ensure backups of critical systems and validate the restore process in case of a disaster scenario.

Requirements:

Knowledge of programming or systems analysis is required.

1-3 years of experience as an Analyst or Administrator in a Manufacturing Environment.

Post-Secondary Education in IT or a related field.
