Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Fort Saskatchewan Childcare Inc. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and exploration, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Guide children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Monitor children's progress and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to childcare.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Ability to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
