Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Little Feet Big Steps. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our team to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs and activities that support child development.
  • Lead activities that promote creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports on children's progress.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
