Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kona Walkerville Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Hire and train food service staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high customer expectations.
