Job Summary

Strike Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead our electrical systems installation and maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, alteration, repair, and maintenance of various electrical systems and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate electrical systems installation and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Supervise and lead a team of electrical technicians and laborers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and defects, and implement corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, and monitor compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and construction managers to plan and coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, and ensure that all electrical systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyperson certificate issued by the appropriate provincial or federal authority.
  • Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, and Mobile Elevated Work Platform tickets.
  • Industrial/energy industry experience, with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of electrical technicians and laborers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex electrical system issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
