Job Title: Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team at St. Marys Golf & Country Club Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist with landscape constructions, tie and secure plants, weed, prune and trim trees and plants, cut grass, rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, lay sod or seed, apply fertilizers, repair and maintain equipment, and water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions and maintenance tasks
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety
  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance
  • Cut grass and other vegetation to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Rake and collect refuse and litter to keep the grounds clean
  • Remove litter and garbage to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to maintain the grounds
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged areas
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care
Requirements:
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Team player with good communication skills
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The hours of work will be 32 to 48 hours per week.
