Job Title: Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team at St. Marys Golf & Country Club Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist with landscape constructions, tie and secure plants, and perform various tasks related to grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, and applying fertilizers.
  • Tie and secure plants, and perform weeding, pruning, and trimming tasks.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and remove litter and garbage.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and perform other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
