Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- Material Movement: Move products and materials within the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick orders and stock to meet customer demands.
- Quality Control: Weigh materials and goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Packaging and Unpacking: Pack and unpack goods to ensure safe and secure transportation.
- Sorting and Stacking: Sort, crate, and stack goods to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
- Transportation: Transport and distribute materials and goods to meet customer demands.
As a Material Handling Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and lift heavy loads.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, and kneel.
