Job Title: Labourer - Material Handling

Best Yet Transport INC. is seeking a reliable Labourer - Material Handling to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Labourer - Material Handling to assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of products and materials within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Pick orders and stock
  • Weigh materials and goods
  • Pack and unpack goods
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods
  • Install, lash, and secure goods
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
