Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Finance team at Kuehne + Nagel AS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating the accurate preparation and filing of our company's state and corporate tax forms, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and Canadian tax law.
Key Responsibilities- Manage direct and indirect tax matters in Canada, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of Canadian Tax Returns, including Income Tax, GST/HST, and QST returns.
- Provide comprehensive day-to-day tax guidance to all Canadian business units, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in-house tax advisor for Kuehne + Nagel's growing presence in the Canadian market, assuming full accountability for Canadian tax affairs.
- Oversee external advisory engagements, bringing outsourced tasks in-house to reduce advisory costs.
- CPA/CA or Bachelor's degree in accounting discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the service/international advisory industry.
- Extensive knowledge of State/Corporate/Partnership tax laws.
- Certifications of CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program or Master of Tax Program would be an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
