Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Geotechnical Driller to join our team at CCI Inc. As a key member of our drilling operations team, you will assist in the deployment of drill rigs, transportation of equipment, and logging of job site information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Senior Driller in leading drilling operations, handling drill pipe, mixing drill mud, and managing casing and equipment.
  • Mobilize drilling rigs and/or cone trucks for jobs as directed, loading drill pipe, mud, and equipment.
  • Perform labor-intensive projects assigned by the Project Coordinator/Project Manager.
  • Monitor equipment performance to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Perform maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas as directed.
  • Complete required paperwork as directed.
  • Attend safety meetings and comply with company and client safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Requirements
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
  • Experience working around drilling and heavy equipment.
  • Sufficient knowledge of geotechnical drilling techniques to be responsible for an entire project.
  • Availability for drilling projects requiring in-state and out-of-state travel and overnight visits.
  • CDL A License (an asset).
  • Geotechnical drilling experience in soils augers, wet rotary, and wireline coring.
  • Familiarity with DOT and IFTA regulations.
  • Current driver's license with a record in accordance with company and DOT policies.
  • TWIC card.
  • ISTC Basic Plus.
  • HAZWOPER 40 Hour Certification.
