Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and care to individuals with complex needs, promoting a positive and healthy environment.
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with individuals, prioritizing trauma-informed practice.
  • Assist with daily life skills development, educational, and recreational goals.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in social services or a combination of education and experience.
  • Related experience working with vulnerable populations or behavioral challenges.
  • Reliable transportation and valid BC driver's license.
  • Knowledge of complex trauma, Autism, FASD, ODD, or other neurobiological conditions beneficial.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered).
  • Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) training and certification provided.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
