Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving sales growth by leveraging technical knowledge and industry expertise to build strong relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Prospect for new business by visiting potential customers and identifying new sales opportunities
  • Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales deals
  • Gather market and customer information to inform sales strategies
  • Negotiate variations in price, delivery, and specifications with customer support
  • Advise customers on forthcoming product developments and provide technical support as needed
  • Liaise with customer support to check on the progress of existing orders and review sales performance to meet or exceed targets
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements and represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
  • Provide feedback to management on future buying trends and technical resources to customers as needed
