About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Reflex Physiotherapy. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physiotherapists in administering tests, instructing patients, and recording results.
  • Assess Patients' Physical Abilities and provide feedback to physiotherapists.
  • Support Health Care Professionals in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Position Patients for treatments and assist with equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Manage Routine Office Functions, including reception, telephone, and appointment booking.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, office of a health care professional, medical clinic, home care and visiting care agency, hospital/medical facility or clinic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • MS Office skills.
