Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Reflex Physiotherapy.
Job Summary:The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work closely with our healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering tests, instructing patients, and recording results, as well as assisting healthcare professionals with patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer tests using equipment and instruct patients on test procedures
- Record results and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment
- Assess patients' physical abilities and assist healthcare professionals with patient care and education
- Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine
- Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain equipment, and prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
- Assist chiropractor with patient health education and maintain clinical and progress reports
- Confer with other health professionals and maintain inventory of equipment
- Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- First Aid Certificate and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- MS Office skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Relocation costs covered by employer
- Willing to relocate to an urban area
