Job Summary:

Heddle Shipyards, a leading Canadian ship repair and construction company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major government projects and shipyard modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide project teams to deliver complex ship repair and construction projects.
  • Manage project communication, stakeholder relationships, and client expectations.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation, and cost control.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the marine construction or ship repair industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of shipbuilding, repair, and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and other relevant software.
