About Our Team
Our team addresses the scaled marketing needs of advertising customers, including Amazon Ads partners and large brands. We enable easy and fast data access, analytics, and scaled campaign management to improve advertising customers' ROI with Amazon Ads and reduce their cost of doing business with Amazon.
We offer three publicly available products: Amazon Marketing Stream, Rapid Retail Analytics, and Bulk operations. We continuously experiment with new startup initiatives to serve our customers' evolving needs.
About This Role
The Principal TPM in Reporting owns the technical plan and roadmap for Reporting Experiences, including Engines and APIs, along with a portfolio of cross-organizational programs aimed at removing reporting as a bottleneck for business expansion, growth, and cost.
This role is critical to the success of the program, and the leader will help build new scaled marketing initiatives ground up and grow the existing ones. The person will be directly responsible for the program's operational health, including defining key metrics, monitoring them, and making necessary improvements.
Candidate Profile
As the ideal candidate, you should be a passionate self-starter comfortable with ambiguity. You will need to evolve internal operating mechanisms and invent new ones to support the needs of our growing organization. You should be obsessed with driving clarity, creating structure, and building mechanisms for an operationally efficient org.
You will collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to deep dive and understand the scaled marketing needs of customers. You will need to understand our complex software architecture and the teams that build and maintain them.
Responsibilities
- Manage priorities for the Reporting Experiences team of 30
- Owning the three strategic programs below funded for 2024 to remove reporting as a bottleneck for business expansion, growth, and cost
- Managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules
- Driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Managing complex technology projects
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have 7+ years of technical product or program management experience, 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams, and 5+ years of software development experience. Experience designing or architecting systems, owning/driving roadmap strategy, and managing projects across cross-functional teams are also required.
