About the Job

Societe Generale de Surveillance SA is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst and Model Validator to join our Risk Management team in the United States. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial models.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and modeling, with experience in reviewing and validating complex financial models. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and validating financial models to ensure they are accurate and reliable
  • Analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Developing and implementing new models to improve risk management processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement model changes and improvements
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematical finance, financial engineering, or statistics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and modeling, preferably in a risk management or financial services industry
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or C++, with experience working with large datasets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
