Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience and qualifications.



Job Description

As a Senior Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles. This includes but is not limited to:



  • Inspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and other critical systems
  • Performing regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Assisting junior technicians with more complex repairs and training them on best practices


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • At least 5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of engine diagnostics and repair techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer skills and ability to use shop management software
