We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at SEVEN M CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality results and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Plan and direct landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of landscapers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being performed to the highest standards and that all necessary safety protocols are being followed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of landscaping equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order and that any necessary repairs are made promptly.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and to provide regular updates on project progress.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with chain saws, small engine equipment, sod cutters, and tractor mowers.
- Area of Specialization: Lawn care, tree service, grounds maintenance, landscape construction, and nursery or greenhouse management.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Initiative, judgement, and ability to work as part of a team.
