Job Title: Painter and Decorator

Fine Finish Painting and Renovations Ltd is seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Advise customers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Physically demanding.
