Home Child Care Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Home Child Care Provider to join our team at Amanda Stewart. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Development: Ensure children receive a high-quality education, including activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Household Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Childcare and Supervision: Provide one-on-one attention and supervision to children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Discipline and Guidance: Establish and maintain a positive relationship with children, using positive discipline techniques and guidance to promote good behavior.
- Health and Safety: Ensure children's physical and emotional well-being by maintaining a safe and healthy environment, including administering medication and responding to emergencies.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, including regular updates on children's activities, meals, and any issues that may arise.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
- Work Setting: Employer's home.
- Transportation: Own transportation, public transportation available.
