Amanda Stewart is seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to join our team. As a Home Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Child Care and Education
- Develop and implement engaging activities to promote children's cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Establish a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to explore and learn
- Household Management
- Assume full responsibility for household management, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
- Maintain a clean and organized living space that meets health and safety standards
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless care and support
- Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure consistency and continuity of care
- Health and Safety
- Monitor and maintain children's health and well-being, including administering medication and providing first aid when necessary
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment by following established protocols and procedures
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
- Skills and Qualities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
