Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order merchandise and ensure that it is delivered to the correct location on time.
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that the sales team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that the sales team is working together effectively.

Requirements:

  • Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Organized and reliable with strong time management skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales role.
