Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and establish work schedules for food service staff.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.

Language:

The primary language of work is English or French.

Hours of Work:

30 to 40 hours per week.
