Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

GTA VAPORIUM INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and train a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on food service operations and performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a focus on attention to detail.
