About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Coordinator to join our team, focusing on injury management and ensuring seamless employee support. This critical role plays a pivotal part in maintaining our commitment to Champion People.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Meet with clients to review internal workplace injury issues, providing empathetic support and guidance throughout the process.
  • Injury Claim Management: Effectively manage workplace injury claims, implementing early intervention strategies to minimize time-loss and claim costs.
  • Communication: Maintain regular and open communication with clients, injured workers, and provincial Workers' Compensation Boards, fostering strong relationships and trust.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of [estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum] experience in a workers' compensation claims management capacity, preferably at the WSIB or a similar board, with knowledge of workers' compensation statutes, policies, and procedures.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
