Director, Client Services & Digital Strategy

Position: Director, Client Services & Digital Strategy

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Experience Required: 6-8 years of client service experience in a digital media agency

Weareother is seeking a Director, Client Services & Digital Strategy to lead our team in delivering exceptional client experiences and driving business growth.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing a portfolio of clients, driving client performance, and project team success. You will lead the charge directly on large clients, while overseeing and mentoring an Associate, who is responsible for managing and executing against their own small book of clients within the portfolio and supporting you on larger clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strong client relationships across your portfolio.
  2. Hands-on client management across some of our largest clients.
  3. Provide guidance to your Associate as they manage their own clients; play a directional role in reviewing client strategies and generating ideas or identifying channel opportunities to help our clients grow.
  4. Drive the sprint process: ensure that all clients have a clear roadmap that is consistently executed against.
  5. Review key client deliverables and presentations prior to them being delivered.
  6. Ensure that all clients are on track to hit their performance targets and work with Associates and clients to course-correct if they are not.
  7. Attend and lead important meetings and presentations with our clients.
  8. Manage timelines & deliverables across key SOWs.
  9. Work with the Group Director of Client Service to help remove any roadblocks or interdisciplinary challenges.
  10. Work with the Group Director, Client Service to ensure internal processes are implemented and followed.

Requirements:

  1. 6-8 years of experience in a digital marketing agency environment, in a client-facing/service role.
  2. Experience working with franchisees is a plus, particularly in managing relationships and ensuring alignment with broader brand strategies.
  3. Positive and collaborative team member, with experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  4. Strong presentation skills and confident leading client calls and conversations.
  5. Working knowledge of how digital marketing is purchased and the targeting capabilities of digital media.
  6. Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, eager to play a role in our company's growth.
  7. Can be relied upon to independently manage and drive projects, with a solutions-based mindset.
