Rock Country GMC is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This is a permanent position with a 40 hour workweek.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Discuss work with supervisor to ensure optimal workflow and efficiency.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Road test motor vehicles to identify issues and verify repairs.
  • Test automotive systems and components to diagnose problems.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as needed.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to prevent breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Required Certifications and Licenses
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
  • Overtime required to meet business demands.
  • Standing for extended periods and physical stamina necessary.
