Medical Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Radiography Technologist II to join our Radiology department at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic duties, working closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Provide education and training to clients and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
