We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist II, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine laboratory procedures, rotating through various disciplines, and maintaining accurate records. If you are a registered Laboratory Technologist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Perform routine laboratory procedures, including blood tests, urinalysis, and other diagnostic tests.
- Rotate through various disciplines, including Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory technology program.
- Eligible for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists.
- Ability to organize work, establish and maintain effective work relationships, and sustain attention to accuracy and detail.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
