Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team at the Northern Health Region. As a clinical support pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement pharmacy services and programs.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of pharmacy services.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff and students.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent undergraduate pharmacy degree.
  • Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada Certification.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensing in the Province of Manitoba.
  • Previous experience in hospital pharmacy practice is preferred.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including fluency in the English language.
